TopPop
TopPop was a Dutch music television program broadcast weekly between September 22nd, 1970, and June 27th, 1988. Hosted by Ad Visser, the program primarily featured artists miming to their latest hit singles. The Runaways appeared on the show in late November 1977 during the European School Days tour, performing their current single School Days.
TopPop performances were usually filmed in the program's studios in Hilversum, the Netherlands. However, artists were occasionally filmed at other locations when they were unable to travel to Hilversum. The location where The Runaways' performance was filmed remains unknown, as the band was touring Scandinavia at the time. The band's first concert in the Netherlands during the tour took place in Amsterdam on November 29th, after this television appearance had already been broadcast.
